what we do

The Bahrain Triathlon Association (BTA) hosted the first Bahrain Triathlon Championship, which was a major success and attracted a diverse group of participants from various societies and communities. The event helped to put Bahrain on the map as a destination for triathlons, showcasing the country’s commitment to promoting healthy and active lifestyles.

The BTA organizes several annual programs in collaboration with various sports agencies and organizations. These programs are in line with the strategy of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, which is guided by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

One of the BTA’s major events is the Grandprix Triathlon Series Race, which is a series of three races held over three consecutive weekends. The race consists of three different disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running. To win the series, the individual must have the lowest cumulative time across all three races. The Grandprix Triathlon Series Race is a challenging and exciting event that tests the endurance and determination of the participants.
