ABOUT
BTA hosted the 1st Bahrain Triathlon Championship attracting various societies and communities placing Bahrain on the map for Triathlons. BTA organises several annual programmes in collaboration with numerous sports agencies, and in line with the strategy of Bahrain Olympic Committee under the guidance of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The BTA is hosting its Grandprix Triathlon Series Race comprising of 3 races over three weekends. To win, the individual will need to score the least time in all three races swimming, biking and running.

Pointing System
Registered Clubs will be able to tally the highest 4 club members points towards the clubs category.
The Elite will transfer 100% of their points and the age group athletes will transfer only 80% of their points.
Another update with regards to the Clubs, only members with Bahraini issued CPR numbers are eligible to be in local clubs. Anyone can participate regardless of their nationality and residency, but clubs are directed to locals and residence only as per the regulations which we work under in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Rules
To be eligible for the prizes you need to register for the BTA league 8 races at BD 60 on premieronline.com
For Elite category you must only race with a road bike – Drafting is permitted for Elite
For Age Group category you can race with road or TT bike - drafting is permitted for Road bikes only from road bikes. Women and Men cannot draft from each other.
For Club you can take part as a team and register your club in the league to win points.
To register as a club you need to pay BHD50 at our HQ.
If you registered for the league, you only need to pick up your race number once for the league. If you lose your bib, you must replace it for 500 files.
If you are NOT registered for the league, you need to pick up a different number each race or your time will not be published.
